A personal money manager (also known as a daily money manager) assists with financial tasks, such as ensuring bills are paid and on time, payments are monitored to help prevent fraud, records are accurate, and taxes are handled. They can also help with tasks like cash flow planning, budgeting, and even perform financial check-ups periodically.
If a Personal Money Manager is hired, is an accountant, lawyer, or healthcare worker still needed?
Yes, a Personal Money Manager (PMM) does not take the place of professionals in the accounting, financial planning or investment, social service or medical fields. A PMM’s work complements the specialization of other professionals by facilitating the completion, accuracy and timeliness in taking care of day-to-day tasks.
For example, a PMM organizes and maintains accurate financial records and can then compile the necessary documents for tax preparation by an accountant. When the accountant has prepared the required tax returns, the PMM makes sure they are correctly signed and filed on time.
What will the services of a Personal Money Manager cost and how are services billed?
Most services are provided on an hourly basis. Services are typically billed monthly or on a bi-weekly basis. An estimate of total charges will be discussed depending on the extent of services and the depth of the relationship. A full accounting of hours will be provided as billed. Once a scope of services has been established, if the client prefers, a flat monthly rate can be arranged. There is no charge for an initial consultation.

Will I have to sign a long-term contract?
No the service we provide is month to month and may be cancelled at any time. However, we do charge a setup fee that is non-refundable.
Will I be giving up my independence if I hire a Personal Money Manager?
On the contray, hiring a Personal Money Manager (PMM) will enable you to maintain your independence as they can assist you with your finances and help protect you from financial fraud. Clients can enjoy a renewed feeling of freedom and independence, and benefit from stress and anxiety of being overwhelmed by financial and other matters.
Do I need to use a computer to benefit from MoneyWise365?
No. MoneyWise365 was specifically designed to benefit individuals who do not have or want to use a computer. However, if you use a computer and want to access your account, you will be able to do so, or you may provide written authorization for third parties like adult children, accountant, and attorneys to access your information via our portal.
What if I want to make changes -- add a new bill, change banks, etc.?
